A Windows 7 PC / Laptop by default doesn't allow you to use an Android mobile's internet connection via a USB to browse the internet. You must install a USB driver for it to work. This is very useful as it doesn't require you to enable a Wireless Hotspot on your mobile and your mobile keeps getting charged while allowing you to browse the internet. All this happens without any Wifi radiations. To achieve this do the following:
  • Download the USB driver from GT-I9082 Drivers Download
  • Copy the driver to your PC via a mobile cable or a pen drive. Install this driver by running the executable file "SAMSUNG_USB_Driver_for_Mobile_Phones_v1.5.45.0.exe".
  • Connect your PC and mobile with data cable. Switch ON "Mobile Data" on the phone.
  • Enable USB Tethering.
You should be able to browse internet using mobile. If you have some issues browsing then specify DNS entries for your connection.
