Cheap Broadband with Landline

MTNL is offering one of the Cheapest (Low cost) broadband plans with a landline at Rs.398/- per month in Delhi with 25 Gb Fair Usage Limit at 2Mbps (up to 8Mbps), Unlimited Local calls to any network. This is way better than MTNL's normal lowest 699 plan and Airtel's 899 plan. This offer is available permanently now.

Airtel has a low cost broadband Rs.599/- Retention plan which allows 50 Gb of data at 8Mbps after which speed drops to 1Mbps. This also has unlimited calls to any network like in the 899 plan. Call Airtel Customer care to switch to this plan to save on your monthly bill. It is NOT mentioned on their website nor do they advertise this.


Jamia Milia University's Dentistry Department in South Delhi offers almost free or low cost Dental treatment to general public. This is the Jamia "Faculty of Dentistry". Its a government facility and treatment is more or less free except for nominal diagnostic charges. Here is some basic information about it:

Registration and Treatment is Free. There is nominal fee for X-Ray (Rs. 20) and similarly for some other diagnostics and facilities. Dental treatment and surgeries are free. The department is spic and span, i.e. is very clean and hygienic. The doctors are very friendly and helpful. Room No. 109 on ground floor has man dental chairs in a hall where treatment is done by junior residents under the supervision of senior residents and doctors.

The actual location of the Faculty of Dentistry is on the road going left from Metro Pillar No. 52 if you are coming from Holi Family Hospital or the right if you are coming from Jamia Nagar side. Go inside the road for about 500 meters and the facility is on your left.
