To avail of Delhi Government's Free Pilgrimage scheme for Senior Citizens ("Mukhyamantri Tirath Yatra Yojana") you need to submit the following papers at your local MLAs office:
- Medical Certificate of fitness from an MBBS doctor which mentions that you are fit for travel.
- Proof of residence in Delhi (Example: Voter Id)
- Two photographs.
- A mobile number
Criterion for availing of the scheme:
- Age above 60 years.
- Applicant must be a resident of Delhi
- NO Income criterion
The scheme has 12 popular destinations given below. It was launched with five routes initially.

- Delhi-Haridwar-Rishikesh-Neelkanth-Delhi
- Delhi-Ajmer-Pushkar-Haldighati-Delhi
- Delhi-Amritsar-Wagha Border-Anandpur Sahib-Delhi
- Delhi-Vaishno Devi-Jammu-Delhi
- Delhi-Rameshwaram-Madurai-Delhi
- Delhi-Tirupati-Delhi
- Delhi-Dwarkadhish-Nageshwar-Delhi
- Delhi-Jagannath Puri-Konark-Bhubaneswar-Delhi
- Delhi-Shirdi-Shani Shinglapur-Delhi
- Delhi-Bodh Gaya-Sarnath-Delhi
The Delhi government bears all the expenses on the pilgrimage, including the travel, food and accommodation charges. Facilities like paramedical staff and attendants are also provided during the journey. The applicants can fill up online form at www.editstrict.delhigovt.nic.in.
